Awareness though movement classes will recommence in September initially with two online classes: 7-8 on Wednesday nights and 4-5 on Friday nights. More details will be given at the end of August.
Most of the classes are done whilst lying on a mat on the floor so please use a thick, comfortable mat. Some classes are done sitting and standing. If you wish to discuss if the class is suitable for you, please ring me or email me.
Classes consist of gentle, interesting and non-habitual movements done in a comfortable range; 'efforting', stretching or forcing ourselves do not play a part in the class. Learning to move within an easy range of movements is a key part of becoming more self-aware and becoming pain free. They are enjoyable and are done in a supportive and non-competitive atmosphere.
The online Summer School 10th-14th August explored fascial connections from head to feet, diagonals and lateral connections to find easier and more comfortable pathways for movements. The recordings (video and audio) are still available should you wish to purchase them.
I offer regular 3 hour workshops. These give us time to really go into a subject and are interesting, enjoyable and fun. Currently I am looking at running these online too! Signing up to the mailing list will give you more information on these.
Currently the 2020 dates for workshops at the Old Cattle Market (all 10.30-1.30) are:
31st October: Our Fabulous Feet
December - Day workshop - tba.
To book a place at a workshop please e-mail me as places are limited or book online below. The workshops cost £20. Drinks and snacks are included.
Please lie on a nice thick, wide mat if possible and wear loose comfortable clothing.
